I don't think Spanos will ever have that epiphany. I have a story about the guy which really shows the type of Owner/Manager he is... for another time though.

AJ is a complete blowhard and while we can't deny he has had success in previous drafts we also have to point out two very important items:

1. We have ZERO Championships as a city so guys like LT mean something to the people of San Diego. If you have to let him go to improve the team then so be it...but treat him right. AJ absolutely punked LT in that Acee article and it was bush league bullshit.

2. Deja Vu...GMs (AJ and Beathard)win battles against head coaches (Marty and Bobby Ross) with support of Spanos family. Drafts consist of trading future high picks to draft Question Marks today...how did that work out for Beathard?

I admire AJ trying to make things happen but Weddle and Hester are sitting on the fence right now and they're falling to the wrong side...he also needs to stop being such a dick to a future HOF.All we have are our #21 jerseys.; January 24, 2009 at 7:31 PM
